Career Center Events for the Week of Sept 14 Career Fair Prep Walk-In Hours (printed resume required for critique) Monday, Sept 14 10:00AM – 4:00PM Want to have an edge over other candidates at the Fall Career & Internship Fair?  Need help with your resume or want it critiqued?  Not sure how to present your qualifications to employers?  Have questions about what to wear?  If you answer "yes" to any of these questions or have other ones, then plan on taking advantage of these special walk-in hours to prepare for the Fall Career & Internship Fair. Finding an Internship at the Career & Internship Fair Monday, Sept 14  4:00 PM – 5:00 PM The Fall Career & Internship Fair is quickly approaching and now is the time to start preparing. For two days (September 16 & 17), 200+ employers will pack into the XFINITY Center to recruit UMD students for full-time jobs and INTERNSHIPS. This program will help you learn how to maximize your chances of landing an internship this summer while participating in our career fairs. Target Corporation: Employer Networking Sessions Monday, Sept 14 6:00PM – 7:00PM Target store leaders combine a love of business, people and service to create an environment where everyone can thrive. Focus your efforts to lead a specific area of the store, including Guest Experience, Human Resources, Sales Floor, Logistics, Assets Protection or Food. Motivate a team of 30-60 team members and leaders to improve performance and ensure guests have the best possible Target shopping experience during every visit. The Store Leadership Team works a flexible schedule to be present and support its teams and our guests. Positions are available for experienced and entry level candidates. Grasping the GRE Wednesday, Sept 16 5:00PM – 6:00PM Considering grad school? Don't miss this chance to learn more about the format of the GRE and testing techniques! Fall Career & Internship Fair 2015 Thursday, September 17 11:00AM – 4:00PM NOTE: Day 1 Wednesday is STEM Industries only.  Day 2 (Thursday) all industries are present, including BSOS related fields.  BSOS related employers will be on the upper concourse of the XFINITY center. The annual Fall Career & Internship Fair provides all UMD students and alumni with an opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers to discuss internships, full-time and part-time employment opportunities.
