An event organized by the Political Science Student Organization (PSSO) at UMBC-Shady Grove Campus. It is an 90-minutes event that will be centered around the issue of criminal justice. Come hear from experts in the field on how to address and fix the issues that plague the American justice system. Panel of experts will include Professor Brent E. Newton, a prosecutor from the U.S. Attorney Office, and a speaker from a non-profit organization representing the interests of criminal justice and sentencing reform issues. This is an opportunity for students to interact with professionals in the field and ask questions that could better increase their knowledge about specific issues that can academically benefit them.
