Be on the USG Student Council
Apply here by THIS WEDNESDAY, April 13th to be included on the ballot.
Run for a seat in the first ever USG Student Council Elections. Each institution hosting undergraduate programs will elect two students to be institutional representatives on the USG Student Council. If elected as a USG Student Council Representatives you will receive $$ at the end of each semester you successfully serve!
Responsibilities of the USG Student Council include hosting monthly Town Halls, reviewing USG Student Organization funding requests, serving on the USM Student Council, regularly attending campus life events, fundraising for the USG Student Involvement Scholarship, and most importantly soliciting feedback from your peers and providing recommendations to the USG Administration on items such as student fee revenue, campus life, on site- services, and facility changes. Starting the fall semester stipends will be awarded to USG-Student Council members at the end of each semester that they successfully serve!
