Event Description: Caregivers, patients, and family members can conveniently drop off any unused or expired prescription medications in their household for safe disposal.
Purpose: Prevent accidental poisoning, overdose, and abuse in households by children, teens, elderly, etc. Reduce pollution to our water supply from the flushing down of medications.
Collaboration: American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists, Criminology and Criminal Justice Student Association, and Rockville City Police Department
When: Monday, April 24, 2017 from 12-2pm
Where: Universities at Shady Grove, Building III, Cafe Entrance
