Immigration Law Spring 2018 Internships in McLean


We're looking for smart, motivated students for our Spring 2018 Internship Program. We have both paid and unpaid positions available, with flexible hours to accommodate your class schedules, but minimum 15 hours a week required.

As an intern with the HMA Law Firm, you will:
  • Meet clients.
  • Go to immigration court.
  • Go to USCIS for interviews.
  • Learn legal research skills
  • Learn how an immigration filing is prepared
  • Conceive and build ways to streamline internal processes
  • Learn learn legal writing skills.
  • Work on everything from deportation to criminal to citizenship to employment based immigration

​And you'll learn how to practice the business of law.

You must have a strong commitment and interest in immigration. Strong preference for multilingual ability, especially Spanish, Arabic, French, and Mandarin Chinese.
