Business Coordinator is primarily responsible for payroll and human resource functions for START and assists in supervising day-to-day business operations. This involves extensive sponsored research administration, in particular post-award management. Additional duties include financial management and procurement. The Coordinator ensures that resources for START’s sponsored projects are accurately and appropriately allocated, in collaboration with START’s program and project managers.
Junior Researcher, PIRUS (Apply by May 20)
The Junior Researcher will support two new initiatives to expand the PIRUS database to include information on the social network ties of US extremists, as well as individual-level information on bias crime offenders.
The National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism—better known as START—is a university-based research and education center comprised of an international network of scholars committed to the scientific study of the causes and human consequences of terrorism in the United States and around the world.
