Department of Health and Human Services
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is an integrated public health and human services delivery system that helps address the needs of Montgomery County's most vulnerable, children, adults and seniors. DHHS is recruiting for the following positions:

Community Review-Internship
The intern would participate on a Community Review panel with either two other experience reviewers or with a team of three students with guidance from an experienced Community Reviewer serving as a mentor.
Responsibilities:
 
  • Assisting with the preliminary work plan activities and timeline to prepare for a review
  • Serving on a review panel and participating as a review member to complete the Community Review Assessment Tool (CRAT).
  • Observing the selected program's services, interviewing staff and customers, reviewing a self-assessment and program-related documents, and facilitating aquestionnaire(aimed at targeting the Department's Strategic Plan goals, as well as DHHS' mission, guiding principles and internal operations)
Office of Community Affairs (OCA)-Internship
  • The intern shall evaluate data needs of the Office of Community Affairs and develop a plan for regular data generation, data gathering and presentation.
  • Gathering and cataloguing information on data needs of the OCA through interviews with OCA staff and leadership.
  • Reviewing current data availability and data generation/compilation practices.
PACS Internship
  • The intern shall draft,record, and produce training videos for various programs Planning, Accountability and Customer Service (PACS) oversees.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training and documents progress of participants, communicating to respective managers as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support, design and finalize video content, and video distribution plan.
