Fall Internship 2018: Start Your Career with Homeland Security Investigations


HSI is currently seeking Student Volunteer Interns for Fall 2018.* HSI’s Student Volunteer Program (SVP) provides unpaid training opportunities related to your academic program. Additionally, our program allows you to explore career options as well as develop your personal and professional skills.

As a student volunteer, you will be exposed to the HSI work environment and will learn about the mission and responsibilities of various components and programs. Students are involved in professional projects and work activities related to their academic studies. These activities vary from administrative assistance, to project planning, to assisting with special projects.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is the primary investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). With more than 10,000 employees, consisting of 6,700 special agents, who are assigned to more than 200 cities throughout the U.S. and 47 countries around the world, HSI is a key component of the DHS layered defense approach to protecting our nation.
