Last Day to Withdraw from one course: Nov. 9th





Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 
is the last day for undergraduate students to withdraw from 1 course or up to 4 credits for the Spring 2021 semester. If you have questions about dropping a course, please contact the Dr. Stickle at 
wstickle@umd.edu.




Schedule an appointment with Dr. Stickle if:

1. You need to drop a course and you have already dropped a course this semester.

2. You are on academic probation or dismissal and would like to drop a course with a W.

3. You need to drop a single course that is more than 4 credits (e.g. certain language courses or research/internship that is more than 4 credits)

Meet with officers from the Analysis Career Field for a discussion on career opportunities with DIA - where you make an impact on national security!

Officers in the Analysis career field serve at the heart of DIA’s global mission. Analysis officers provide cutting-edge analysis from locations around the world on foreign military capabilities and defense issues in support of our nation’s warfighters, policymakers, and defense planners. Through written products, in-person briefings, or multimedia presentations, their work informs tactical decisions of policy, defense strategy, weapons development and acquisition, and military planning. Analysis officers come from diverse backgrounds and can look forward to careers of rewarding training, advanced education opportunities, and challenging assignments with DIA and the intelligence community.

Obviously there is a lot of talk and images about the police these days.  These might be leaving you feeling confused and conflicted.  How do you support (and become law enforcement officers) while also wanting structural change?  The rhetoric seems to demand choosing one position or the other right now.  Join peers and instructors in an open and honest conversation about current events and the state of law enforcement.
