All Marylanders age 16 and older can now pre-register for an appointment to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at a mass vaccination site. Pre-registration ensures you will be notified when you and are able to make an appointment if you are eligible to receive a vaccine.

 Summer 2021 internship w/ Metro Transit Police


The Metro Transit Police Department is seeking a college intern for their Intern Program - Metro Transit Police Crime Analysis & Police Records Division (CAPRD). This intern will utilize various databases to compile and analyze crime data, which will aid the Metro Transit Police Department’s deployment strategies to reduce crime within the Metro System. This person will work with several systems to include Business Intelligence tools, GIS software, and Records Management Systems.  The optimal candidate will have knowledge pertaining to compiling and interpreting data, populating databases, as well as analyzing and extracting statistics.  The optimal candidate will also have the following characteristics: self-starter, team player, quick learner, problem solver, and can multi-task and manage their time effectively.

CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service-Applications OPEN!



The
CyberCorps:Scholarship for Service (SFS) is accepting applications for the Fall 2021 cohort! 

Applications are due Sunday, May 9, 2021.


The CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service (SFS) program, seeks to address cybersecurity education and workforce development. In partnership with the National Science Foundation, ACES provides scholarships for students, who will then go on to work for Federal, State, Local or Tribal government organizations.


This scholarship covers full tuition and fees, and annual stipends for living expenses, books and travel. Students must complete the ACES Minor in order to receive the SFS Scholarship. Additional information can be found on the ACES website.
