Dear USG/UMCP Students:
Please join us for a special
information session about the Master of Information Management (MIM) Program
offered by University
of Maryland ’s iSchool. We
will hold two identical sessions on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM
and Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM. The sessions will last
about an hour, and pizza will be available.
You will see how valuable a master’s
degree can be as an investment for your future. You will learn how the MIM
program can help you launch a career in the rapidly-growing information
industries. You will get all the information you need to decide whether the MIM
program is the right choice for your education and your career. And if you decide
to pursue the program, you will get information on how to apply and get
admitted.
The MIM program prepares you to be a leader in the use of
information and technology in your organization. Drawing from the fields of
management, computing, information systems, and information science, the MIM
program gives you the skills and knowledge to successfully meet your
organization’s information needs, lead efforts to develop new information
management capabilities, develop and deploy emerging information technologies,
and manage high-value information resources.
