Job Description :
Lockheed Martin is looking for an Information Specialist (Justice) to join our team in our Gaithersburg, MD office. The ideal candidate will respond to justice information requests and provides technical assistance with grant application questions from public safety and research communities in a call center environment on behalf of the US Department of Justice. He/She will employ appropriate empathy and coordinate accurate referrals to appropriately assist victims of crime. Ensure excellent customer care to guarantee questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Appropriately document customer interactions in DOJ databases. Maintain a strong working knowledge of justice issues, news, and research and informs customers of helpful resources and mailing lists from the government and external organizations. Provide limited support maintaining online knowledgebases and websites.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (criminal justice or social sciences preferred). Excellent written and verbal customer engagement skills. Strong online research and analytical skills. Ability to multitask in a high volume environment.
Desired skills
Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is a significant plus. Exhibits a passion for justice issues and/or customer care. ‘ Experience working with clients and maintaining strong business relationships.
