Position: Public Service Fellowship – High School Program
Bridges is a rapidly growing community-based organization committed to the long-term success of motivated Baltimore City youth. The program, which currently works with 200 youth ages 9-18 at two sites in Baltimore, seeks one highly motivated recent college graduate / young professional to join our small, hard-working, and innovative team at St. Paul’s School. This person will spend 1 to 3 years as our High School “Public Service Fellow” (PSF), which includes (a) providing on-going one-on-one support to a grade of Bridges high school students, (b) developing & managing high school weekend enrichment activities, and (c) helping students develop life and professional skills via Bridges’ Summer Jobs Program. He/she will work under the guidance of the High School Program Director.
Cover letters and resumes for the "Public Service Fellowship" will be reviewed on a rolling basis until 9/17 and the position will begin in mid-October. The PSF role is a rewarding one, but is also quite demanding. It requires a person who thrives in a fast paced working environment, is optimistic, likes to learn, and seeks excellence in all responsibilities.
