District Court Discovery Specialist
Employee in this position is a trainee who assists others by doing
routine, non-specialized and repetitive tasks, and will work with other Discovery
Specialists in the Discovery Compliance Unit.
This is a Discovery Specialist Position specific to the State’s
Attorney’s Office, Part-Time 20 to 24 Hours Weekly, Non- Benefited, performing
tasks such as:

Duplicating digital media such as CD’s, DVD’s and
Flash Drives
·
Querying Police Systems and Downloading Body
Camera Videos, Cruiser Cam Videos and Video Interviews. (Evidence.com & Backend Client)
·
Uploading Digital Files into the SAO Case
Management System (JustWare)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Experience related to the position or education with background in providing data processing, digital media, digital file and clerical support or activities in technology or office environment.

Education: Completion of High School or
High School Certificate of completion
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of
education and experience may be substituted.
Knowledge, Skills:
Basic competency in/knowledge of PC operating systems, including a basic understanding of desktop applications, Microsoft Office Suite, basic competency in/knowledge of software programs, systems and applications.

Abilities:
Ability to work with clients and customers with courtesy and tact to satisfy their expectations.

Ability to quickly adapt to change.
Ability to cooperatively work as a member of a team.
Ability to plan work, set well-defined and realistic goals, evaluate and monitor progress, and effectively manage time.
Ability to attend meetings or perform other assignments at locations outside of the office, if necessary.
