Tuesday, May 21st, 2-4pm Memorial Chapel Graduates & guests, RSVP at go.umd.edu/lavgrad19 Lavender Graduation 2019 is here!  Lavender Graduation recognizes an important milestone in the lives of our LGBTQIA+ graduates. Whether you have been involved in the LGBTQIA+ community at UMD or not, we encourage all LGBTQIA+ and allied graduates to consider participating in the ceremony so that we may highlight your perseverance and value to the University of Maryland community. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to attend and bring family, friends, and other significant individuals in their lives from both on and off campus. Of course, all faculty and staff are invited. Those who are graduating in December 2018, May 2019, or December 2019 are welcome to walk in the ceremony. Each LGBTQIA+ graduate will receive a rainbow tassel, rainbow stole, and a certificate of achievement.
