Berwyn Heights Maryland Police Department is currently seeking interns for the Spring 2020 and Summer 2020 terms. The program requires between 10-20 hours each week from interns, with flexible scheduling to accommodate student schedules. Hours must be completed between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. This internship will help students learn about the administrative side of a police department, as well as the every day routine of police officers. Students will get an opportunity to shadow the Chief of Police and go on ride-alongs with the Officers.All candidates are subjected to a background check and fingerprinting.
