Salary: $60,000

The Workforce Development Specialist is a full-time position that works to prepare returning citizens for meaningful careers in today’s job market primarily with the Ready4Work Program. The Ready4Work Program is a comprehensive 5-week Job Readiness/Job Placement Program operated by the National Reentry Network for Returning Citizens. The primary goal is to establish a pipeline to jobs for the returning citizen community by reconciling relationships with the community and employers. This position will entail client recruitment to job placement. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, this role will manage program activities to ensure to that all program goals are achieved. This position is also responsible for monitoring progress and timelines. In addition, This Role presents program information, informs potential clients about service availability, how to apply for services, and other relevant information; Delivers career coaching services to assigned caseload to assist clients with multiple barriers in achieving their target career goal.
