The Women's Forum recognizes and celebrates the achievements of students, faculty, and staff from across the system through award and scholarship programs. All awards and scholarships are open to any female or female-identified person regardless of race, color, religion, age, national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status or disability. Graduate Certificate in Risk, Compliance, and the Law

The Graduate Certificate is for a baccalaureate student with a GPA of 3.0 or more who is interested in the fields of business law, ethics, criminology, and accounting. This program is a joint effort between the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and the Robert H. Smith School of Business.

The Certificate is geared toward newly graduated business and social science graduates and the large group of working professionals who are interested in business legal compliance.  The certificate is a four course program, delivering on-line classes in white-collar crime/victimization, accounting forensics, investigation and data analysis, legal and regulatory compliance).  

Because it is totally online, it benefits the individual with flexibility, convenience, and accessibility. The Certificate can be completed in as little as 12 months while minimally disrupting personal and professional life.

Maryland Parent & Family Association Student Scholarship - Applications Due May 10


Image result for maryland parent and family association umdApplications are being accepted for the Maryland Parent & Family Association Student Scholarship Awards. The scholarships provide assistance to current undergraduate students in good standing who may be unable to continue their education at the University due to extenuating personal or family financial circumstances. 

A minimum of 15 scholarships will be awarded for the 2019-2020 academic year.  Scholarships of up to $2,000 available for the 2019-2020.

Award criteria, instructions, and an online application can be found at https://terpfamily.umd.edu/mpfa-student-scholarship-award. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2019.
