Ocean City Police Department Early Testing Date Ocean City Maryland Police Department has a special early testing date for the Summer 2017 season! The Ocean City Police Department will be holding several test dates for interested candidates applying for seasonal and full-time Police Officers, Public Safety Aides, and Communications Operators. There will be a special early testing date of Thursday, August 4, 2016 and Friday August 5, 2016.  Additional testing dates for October to February will be posted shortly. Successful candidates will remain on the eligibility list for 18 months. Thursday’s testing will take place at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, 4001 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, MD 21842.
