CAREER & INTERNSHIP FAIR

Hosted by the University Career Center & The President's Promise
The annual Career and Internship Fair provides UMD students and alumni with an opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers to discuss internship, full-time and part-time employment opportunities. Over 240 employers have registered and are looking forward to meeting undergraduate and graduate students!
Each day has different employers so students are encouraged to plan ahead. Attendees should dress professionally and bring multiple copies of resumes. No preregistration is necessary.

- Career Fair Prep Workshop, Monday, February 19; 4-5 p.m. | 3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing
- Brand Your Shell: Professional Branding for your Career Success by UMSuccess, February 19; 6-7:30 p.m. | 3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing
Tips to offer students on what to wear to the Fair?
- Wear a clean pressed suit. If you do not own a suit, you should wear dress pants or a skirt and a long sleeve light colored pressed shirt with a tie (sports jacket preferred) or a nice blouse.
- Skirts, if worn, should be no shorter than 2" above the knee.
- Wear comfortable dress shoes, closed toe pumps or flats. Remember, you will be on your feet for hours!
Who can attend the Fair?
- Current UMD students and spouses; Alumni and spouses; Faculty/Staff and spouses.
- UMD students studying at other campuses, but participating in UMCP programs.
- No other individuals (including students at other UMD system schools) will be admitted to this event.
