The Urban Institute Summer Internship is a paid 10-week program designed to provide students interested in research, public policy issues and organizational operations with “rewarding and substantive” work assignments that are valuable to Urban’s mission.
How you’ll contribute:
The Center on Labor, Human Services, and Population is looking for a Summer Research Intern who can work collaboratively on projects aimed to enhance existing workforce development programs and to provide an evaluation of non-traditional child care services.
Responsibilities include:
- Data Collection
- Conducting background research
- Literature Reviews
- Assisting with project management
What you’ll bring:
- Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy/Sociology/Economics, or related field.
- Strong quantitative and/or qualitative skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Detail oriented work well independently
- Very strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel
