Bully Pulpit is looking for diverse candidates with an interest in the digital space and a strong work ethic to apply for their Summer 2019 Fellowship program. Ideal candidates will have strong writing capabilities and be detail-oriented, digitally savvy, and driven to provide high quality work for clients and causes. Our fellowship program is a training and development program that allows you to gain hands on experience across all aspects of digital marketing, advertising, and strategic communications. Currently, BPI clients include political campaigns, organizations like the ACLU, as well as leading corporations and non-profits.
THE BASICS
• Monthly stipend: $2,250/month stipend
• Locations: D.C., Chicago, or New York

We are somewhat flexible in terms of start and end dates:
• Interviews begin: March 1, 2019
• Selections decided & communicated: NLT April 5, 2019
• Final acceptance: April 12, 2019
• Start date: Early June
• End date: Late August or early September
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• College student or recent graduate
• Be available for the full duration of the fellowship, part-time (20 or more hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week)
• Passionate about the digital media landscape
• Interest in communications, marketing, analytics, politics and/or account management
• Self-motivated with high levels of organization and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in a fast-moving environment while managing multiple tasks and activities simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications

- Client Services / Account Management: Work with clients to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, using platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
- Creative: Manage creative production, ad design, and editing.
- Media: Work with client teams to plan and execute advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Strategic Communications: Elevate client messaging through press relations and creative campaigns.
