The Primary Elections - June 2ndIf you are registered to vote in Maryland, you can likely vote in the primary election.
You must be a registered Democrat or Republican to vote in those parties’ primaries, but your county may have nonpartisan offices also on the ballot that you can vote for even if you are not registered for either party. If you want to update your party preference, you must do so by June 12th, online or by contacting your local board of elections. You will receive a ballot by mail to your registered address so please check to make sure that your registered address is where you are currently living. You can check or change your registration here There will be a few in-person voting centers in each county, but election officials and public health experts strongly recommend that you only vote in person if you need assistance voting, or did not receive a ballot in the mail.
