I hope you will consider joining our wonderful student leaders, CCC, CSEF, and USG Culture of Care for Art With Impact’s “Movies for Mental Health” workshop which will be held virtually on November 17, 4-5:30 pm.
Art With Impact (AWI) is a non-profit that uses the power of film to reduce stigma around mental illness and raise awareness about mental health issues. They have run over 200 successful workshops at universities and colleges throughout the U.S. and Canada over the past five years which students have described as: eye-opening, powerful, fantastic, enlightening, and worth going to. The online workshop is 1.5 hours long and includes interactive discussion, viewing and responding to several winning short films, therapeutic exercises to connect mind with body, and a panel of speakers representing mental health resources.
