Want to Do Good but don't know where to start? Join us on Saturday April 9th, 2022 from 9am - 1pm at The Do Good Institute's first ever Impact-A-Thon! The Do Good Impact-A-Thon aims to inspire UMD students to think critically and creatively about real-world issues through a hackathon-style competition. Participants will form teams of five and be assigned a random issue area that affects the local College Park community. Teams will then have two hours to ideate, prototype, and prepare a pitch for their solution to that issue that will be presented to a panel of expert judges. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams and anyone with any social impact experience is welcome to participate!
The Impact-A-Thon will take place at The Do Good Accelerator (behind the hotel) and registration is now open (register at ter.ps/impactathon)!
