BSOS Career Chats: Crime Analysis

This event will feature Andrew Reece, CCJS & GVPT '10 , a Senior Crime Analyst at the Roanoke Police Department. Andrew concentrates primarily on crime series, trends/patterns, hot spot analysis, and various data requests that come from inside and outside the department. Prior to working in crime analysis, Andrew worked in bank fraud investigations at Wells Fargo, served as a communications officer for the Virginia Tech Police Department, and also did government contract work for the US Department of Justice.

This event will allow prospective students to learn more about the M.A. and Ph.D. programs in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland. You will hear from the faculty about our admission process and timeline, research, and collaboration work with students, followed by a Q&A session.
