It's the time of the year when students, faculty and staff from across the University can submit applications to Launch UMD, Maryland's crowdfunding platform. Launch UMD provides the unique opportunity for Terps to raise funds for projects they are passionate about with help from the Annual Giving Team.
There will be two different rounds for the Fall semester and the deadlines are October 2nd, 2017 for the first one and November 2nd, 2017 for the second round. The application can be found at https://www.launch.umd.edu/ by clicking "apply."
*Note: To be eligible, projects must either have an account at the UMD College Park Foundation or be affiliated with a unit capable of and willing to establish a new account. The best projects are ones that need to raise between $5,000 and $10,000 and have a strong network to solicit for donations.
