Language Instruction Careers with the CIA The CIA offers a wide variety of language instructor internships and job opportunities for individuals with a very strong proficiency in foreign language. All language speakers are welcome, though the following languages are particularly sought: Arabic, Persian, Spanish, French, Turkish, Italian and Indonesian.   To qualify for an internship, you must be a US citizen and have language skills at a minimum level of 3 on the ILR scale.  Staff instructors must test at a level 4.  Heritage speakers are also welcome.  All are welcome to come and learn about these positions.
