Then the Public Defender Service (PDS) is the place for you. PDS is coming to UMCP on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. The Criminal Law Internship Program (CLIP) is a diverse community of strong leaders that work together to provide and promote quality legal representation to indigent adults and children facing a loss of liberty in the District of Columbia, thereby protecting society's interest in the fair administration of justice. Our interns are a vital part of our mission. Our interns work side by side with their attorney and receive highly regarded hands on experience daily.
