Roper Victim Assistance Academy of Maryland (RVAAM) provides a unique opportunity to attend a basic crime victim services training while living in a tranquil setting with other like-minded individuals.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Individuals from victim services agencies and other organizations that serve crime victims. This includes paid staff and volunteers from a variety of community-based and system-based programs and other allied professionals such as law enforcement and corrections. Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of two years in the field of victim assistance.
COST
The all-inclusive $300 fee covers tuition, online training materials, shipping fees and all other related expenses. Financial assistance is available through a limited number of scholarships.
LOCATION
Virtual. Classes for Roper Academy Winter Session will be held online.
LIMITED SEATING
Due to classes being held online for 2021 Winter Session, seating is limited. Please submit your application early! We are shipping materials to attendees prior to start date, February 22, 2021.
