The HR Customer Services and Solutions group is
currently accepting applications to fill a temporary position at Rock Creek
National Park, DC. Appointments made under this announcement are limited to
1039 hours (six months) in a service year and may be terminated at any
time. Appointments under
this announcement are eligible for rehire and/or
extension (when initial appointment is less than 1039 hours) if workload
and funding allow . Individuals selected under this vacancy announcement
are eligible for rehire in subsequent service years. Anticipated Entry on
Duty: May 2015. Application deadline:

Education: Major study -- natural resource management,
natural sciences, earth sciences, history, archeology, anthropology,
park and recreation management, law enforcement/police science, social
sciences, museum sciences, business administration, public
administration, behavioral sciences, sociology, or other closely
related subjects pertinent to the management and protection of natural and
cultural resources. Course work in fields other than those specified
may be accepted if it clearly provides applicants with the background of
knowledge and skills necessary for successful job performance in the
position to be filled.
