Description
Key Role:
Perform as part of a team that supports
efforts to build the capacity of partner countries as part of the DoD
Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS)
Support contract and eliminate the direct and associated threats of weapons of
mass destruction (WMD) or components thereof. Assist the team with establishing
requirements for various systems in each of the partner countries and
monitoring the progress of the performing contractors who are instituting these
requirements downrange. Participate in team meetings, prepare the team to
conduct site visits, and contribute to reports about requirements, planning,
and progress. Work in a highly fluid environment as part of a contractor team
based at both Fort Belvoir, VA and a nearby support facility.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:-Ability to work as part of a dynamic international
team-Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint-Ability to obtain a security clearance-Pursuing a BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:-Possession of excellent oral and written
communication skills-Possession of excellent project management skills-Actively
pursuing a BA or BS degree or MA or MS degree in International Policy,
Engineering, Science, or a related field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a
security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access
to classified information.
