What Is The Karel Fellowship?
A paid summer opportunity to learn how to be a better advocate by interning in the communications department of a leading nonprofit. The Fellowship is eight weeks long, from June 13 - August 5, 2022.
Who Can Apply?
First-generation and/or students who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color who are juniors at the time of applying and have demonstrated a commitment to social justice.
A background in communications, political science, or social sciences is not required but advantageous.
What Will I Be Doing?
Fellows will be asked to help with a range of communications tasks, like writing blogs, drafting social media, building media lists and pitching journalists.
