JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Director of Client Services, the Case Manager works closely with women, girls, LGBTQ individuals and others who are escaping forced marriages. The Case Manager gets the opportunity to:
- Conduct intakes;
- Create and implement escape plans;
- Advocate for survivors’ needs and connect them with crucial resources;
- Provide ongoing emotional support; and
- Coordinate an annual client retreat.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Are endlessly compassionate and patient, but also a bit of a badass;
- Are ridiculously organized;
- Have at least a year of professional experience, preferably providing services to trauma survivors;
- Hold a college degree (two or four years), preferably in social work, psychology or a related field; and
- Feel passionately about Unchained’s mission.
SALARY/BENEFITS
- A starting salary of $50,000;
