Gap Year Volunteer Activity with Repair the World Fellows (Jewish Social Justice Organization)

Gap Year Volunteer Activity with Repair the World Fellows (Jewish Social Justice Organization)

Applications are Open For the 2021-2023 Repair the World Fellowship

Now a two year experience!

Repair’s Fellowship is now a two-year experience where young adults aged 21-26 build deep professional skills while engaging their Jewish communities to serve alongside them at local non-profit partner organizations. Applications for our priority deadline are due on February 1, 2021.

In their first year, Fellows spend their time volunteering with our non-profit partners, going through deep training around facilitation, recruitment, Jewish social justice, understanding frameworks of equity, racial justice, and the role service plays in a Jewish response to injustice nationally.

In year two, Fellows transition to spending more time on community engagement, facilitation, and recruitment of the Jewish community to take action and volunteer alongside them. Fellows gain deep skills in program planning, facilitating Jewish service-learning, and using rich Jewish text and community programming to mobilize their peers to serve with them.
