Student Police Auxiliary also provides general security and traffic control during major sporting events such as football and basketball games, among many other events.

Salary starts at $11.75/hour and can go as high as $15.00/hour with promotions. In addition to the hourly wage some shifts pay an extra $1.00/hour, many weekend and night shifts pay an extra $2.00/hour, and specific shifts may pay an extra $4.00/hour.

Applications are accepted year round. Applicants must be a registered student at the University of Maryland to apply. Interested students may find more information and the application on the Police Auxiliary job posting.
