Join Larissa Gil Sanhueza, Young Adult Program Manager, to learn about the job & internship opportunities available in advocacy, lobbying, and social justice at Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL). FCNL is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan Quaker organization working collectively to advance peace, justice, and environmental stewardship.

Full Time Program Assistant (Paid), Deadline: February 7  

Chosen applicants work as full-time staff members of FCNL for 11 months, collaborating with key staff members to build expertise in advocacy from a public interest perspective. Benefits include salary, health care, paid vacation, and sick leave. Fellows work under the title “Program Assistant” and work directly with FCNL staff, gaining first-hand knowledge of the legislative process and the organizing and communications work that is necessary for policy change. Program Assistants work from late August through the end of July.

Paid Summer Internship (Paid), Deadline: March 25  

Work with FCNL’s staff in Washington, DC throughout June and July to advance our witness for peace on Capitol Hill. FCNL offers several paid summer internships working in distinct parts of the organization on federal policy, grassroots organizing, or nonprofit management.
