Entry Level Jobs in Education Abroad for Recent Graduates
Position Summary:
The Education Abroad Advisor advises students at all stages of the study abroad cycle, providing detailed information about academics, finances, health and safety, and cultural matters. The Education Abroad (EA) advisor helps students identify and plan for study abroad programs that align with their academic, personal and professional objectives. The EA advisor is also responsible for supporting the outreach, administration of programs and assisting in maintaining advising resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
-One year relevant work or internship experience
-Demonstrated experience writing concise communications to various constituencies;
-Demonstrated experience in delivering oral presentations to various audiences;
-Experience living/working/studying in a cross-cultural environment
-Demonstrated experience working with a diverse student body;
-Agility working with the Google suite of applications, including GoogleDocs, GoogleSheets and GoogleSlides.
