Are You a Senior Interested in Teaching in English in Abu Dhabi or Shanghai? Come to Language House 11/21

The Global Academic Fellowship (GAF) Program serves to enhance the learning experiences of the multicultural student body at New York University portal campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai.
GAFs are recent highly-achieving college graduates with an interest in higher education who undergo teacher training with an emphasis on working with multicultural students in the liberal arts environment.
In Abu Dhabi, GAF support is built into courses across all four divisions of the university and in the core curriculum. GAFs lead in-class writing workshops, facilitate small-group recitations, hold one-on-one meetings with students, assist students’ exploration of laboratory experiments, and organize review and study sessions.
In addition to their academic support role, GAFs work on institutional enrichment projects throughout the University in offices such as First Year Programming, Residential Education and Athletics, which prepare them for future leadership in higher education and elsewhere.

They also receive support for professional development as educators and emerging scholars.

There will be an information session in Language House, St. Mary's Hall, Friday, 11/21, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
