Maryland Internship Program

MIP places highly-qualified UMD undergraduate students in internships throughout Maryland state government.

These internships provide unique internship experiences for motivated and talented students to work within state government. In addition to exposing interns to the governmental process, the program provides Maryland government leaders with research and other professional staff assistance. For students interested in working at the state legislature while it is in session, fill out this application and Christian Hosam will contact you to fill out another form required by the legislature. If you are accepted, you will be placed with an internship by Jane Hudiburg, the State Legislature Internship Coordinator.
